Contract studies

As part of approval procedures for pharmaceuticals and medical devices, we conduct studies on toxicity, biocompatibility and pharmacokinetics in various animal models. We have specialized in the use of rodents and pigs (DLxPi or Minipig). However, we also have expertise in sheep and goats.

Animal welfare is a top priority for us and is already included and prioritized in the design of the studies. Our specially trained staff ensure animal welfare during the conduct of the study, regardless of the species and the form of husbandry, which is always species-appropriate and in compliance with legal requirements.

• Preparation of necessary documents for applications (animal experiment application)
• Implementation and statistical evaluation

We have modern husbandry facilities for rodents and a separate area for keeping pigs or other species with an adjoining operating theater.

You have the option of renting our operating theater including the necessary equipment. The contract studies are carried out in GLP-certified rooms.

We have a GLP certificate for conducting contract studies. This also enables the in-vivo testing of medical devices in accordance with GLP standards.
