Simone Maurer completed her training as MTLA at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. Subsequently, she worked at the Institute of Physiology and Pathophysiology in tumour research. In 2004 she founded the company mfd Diagnostics GmbH together with Dr. Lecher. Her tasks include in particular the management of the diagnostic laboratories and the establishment and development of microbiological analytical methods.
