mfd Diagnostics GmbH was founded in 2004 by Dr. med. vet. Bernd Lecher and Simone Maurer as a spin-out of the University of Mainz. The enterprise was awarded the KfW Entrepreneurship Award GründerChampions 2007 in Rheinland-Pfalz. In 2006 mfd Diagnostics GmbH moved to the Mikroforum Wendelsheim and expanded its capacities due to the company's growth.

Commitment to Quality

mfd Diagnostics GmbH is committed to quality and meets the strict criteria of GLP standards. The company obtained the GLP certificate in 2006 confirming the legally binding documentation.

Accreditation

The accreditation according to ISO and as testing laboratory is planned for both business locations in Wendelsheim and Luckenwalde. mfd Diagnostics GmbH is also aiming at the internationally important AAALAC accreditation in the near future.

Subsidiary in Luckenwalde

In the department for research and development in Luckenwalde (Brandenburg) mfd Diagnostics GmbH develops devices and methods for diagnostics and therapy using state-of-the-art technology in biophotonics.
